La neve in Libia

Anche qua è arrivata, quest'anno si fa sul serio... Era dal 1948 che non nevicava così tanto. Ieri sera la temperatura era di +2 gradi.
Nonostante le case non siano dotate di un impianto di riscaldamento fisso, i libici si sono attrezzati con stufe elettriche e giubbotti pesanti. Erano parecchio contenti.

The snow has come here too... It was since 1948 that didn't snow so much. Last night the temperature was 2 degrees. Despite the houses are not supplied with a fixed heating system, Libyans are equipped with electric heaters and heavy clothes. People is very happy.

... e un video girato a Gharyan, la città a sud di Tripoli di cui ho già parlato tempo fa.   Si vedono anche i mercati delle terracotte! Questa volta imbiancate dalle neve invece che spolverate di sabbia. Perchè quassù c'è sempre vento - lo si sente anche in sottofondo nel filmato; non sono mai riuscita a trovare una giornata in cui non soffiassero folate forti in prossimità di queste rivendite, numerose sul bordo strada all'ingresso della cittadina.

This time whitened by snow and not dusted with sand. Because there is always wind here -  you can hear its sound in the background in the movie, I have never found a day without hearing the wind around these markets, that are many in the edge road to the beginning of the city.
